Parking regulations
– Inside the parking lot, car parking is assisted by our staff. You have to place Your car according to the instruction of the staff, or, if You don’t receive any information, make sure that Your parking will not set back the movement of other cars and entering/exiting the nearby cars.
– Inside the parking lot, the rules of the road are valid. The maximum speed allowed is 15 km/h. Parking regulations and general terms of service are valid after crossing the bar at the entrance of the parking lot.
– Cars should be left closed and (if available) alarmed and locked down by any other mechanical devices.
– Customers must keep their car keys with them, because our staff has no possibility to guard the keys. In case of losing the keys, any caused loss has to be paid by the owner.
– The operator may move or transport the parked cars during vis maior cases. Vis maior cases are, for example, fires, natural disasters, assassination attempts, terrorist acts and any other affairs that cannot be foreseen, in which personal or fortune losses can’t be avoided by the operator.
– After arrivals, and before departures, a data recording has to be made.
– During departures from the parking lot, the staff checks the rights of the leaving person if he/she can take the car or not.
General Terms of Service (GTS)
Upon arriving, a contract is created between the Operator and the requisitors – including the driver and the passengers – (from now mentioned as: Client), which includes the terms of storing and guarding the car and using any other special features. These conditions are regulated by:
– The Parking Regulations,
– The General Terms of Service,
– The Privacy Policy,
– Shuttle conduct of business,
– and the Tax Rate.
If arriving by a bid from a travel agency, conditions from that contract may regulate.
The Operator fixes the tax rate for individual clients. A copy of the Parking Regulations can be given for a fee.
These rules and regulations are available on the area of the parking lot. After leaving, regulations including personal responsibility and claims are still valid.
Upon arrival, the operator, according to the data protection law, records data of the arriving person for acknowledgement and verification:
– A picture is taken and video is captured from the car, where passengers may appear. The operator keeps these records only within the parking lot’s province and exterminates them 30 days after leaving. The operator hands out these records solely in case of an official request from the authorities.
In case of an argument about the vehicle’s status, the status fixed by the operator is authoritative. Proving otherwise oppresses the client. The costs of the verification cannot be oppressed on the operator, not even in the case of success.
The client takes notice that the operator only accepts the vehicle’s registration book as a proof of ownership.
After the ownership is proven and the necessary data is recorded, the operator gives out a parking card, which then must be signed by the client.
The client accepts the terms of service mentioned when signing the parking card. In case of refusing to sign the contract, the service cannot be used.
The operator acknowledges the person confirming the ownership as the client after entering. While leaving – except the case of obvious suspicion – the person holding the car keys and the parking card is qualified as the client.
Obligations of the operator
– After paying the standing price according to the tax, the operator stores the car in a guarded, outdoor parking lot.
– The operator gives out the car in return for the parking fee, to the client who has the parking card and the vehicle’s keys, in the state which was fixed upon arrival.
– In the area of the parking lot, the operator assures safe movement of the vehicles.
– According to the shuttle course, provides shuttle to Liszt Ferenc International Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
The client has to pay the fee determined by the operator (according to the tax), keep the parking card and obey the Parking Regulations.
The operator’s responsibility is limited, considering the circumstances of an outdoor parking lot. The operator does not take responsibility for contamination which happens from storing a vehicle outdoors.
The operator does not examine anything left in the car, none of the data is recorded from them. Responsibility for these items cannot be asked. The operator does not take responsibility for items left in the car, especially audio, video and telecommunicational devices and navigational devices.
The operator precludes responsibility for non-insured damages caused by vis maior cases or by commands of authorities.
Living animals, materials that risk public health, chemicals, explosives, or any other materials, whose possession is prohibited by law cannot be stored in the vehicle. In case of suspicion, the operator notifies the local authorities and acts as instructed by them.
Paying the parking fee
– Clients who came by travel agencies pay the fee according to the travel contract.
– Individual clients are obligated to pay the parking fee during departure from the parking lot.
– If not agreed otherwise, payment is only possible with HUF (Hungarian Forint).
– The client takes notice that the area of the parking lot can be left only after paying the parking fee.
If a person wants to take a vehicle away without being able to show his/her parking card, the operator examines the right of use. The staff asks the person to prove his/her identity and to show proof of ownership. If the driver and the person shown in the proof of ownership are not the same, an authorization note is needed with the signature and home address of two individual witnesses. Only the original copy is acceptable. In case of query, the operator is entitled to ask for action by the local authorities, and can hold the vehicle back until these are done. Claims against the operator for such procedures are excluded.
Shuttle conduct of business
The operator provides shuttle service between the parking lot and Liszt Ferenc International Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 with its own bus.
The price of the shuttle is included in the parking fee. If the client does not wish to use the shuttle, the price remains the same.
The shuttle request must be indicated upon arriving at the parking lot, or when returning, by calling the phone number found on the parking card.
During the shuttle, if any injuries should occur, the operator can be held responsible according to the General Terms of Service.
Shuttle service is provided by the operator if needed. When arriving at the parking lot, a bus is provided within 15 minutes. When arriving back at the airport, a bus is provided within 20 minutes at the terminal. The average travel time is about 15 minutes. It is the exclusive interest of the client to consider these times when planning the trip.
The operator does everything possible to keep the above schedule, but cannot take responsibility for delays caused by traffic, technical issues, or the authorities. Compensation for missed flights is excluded.
The staff ensures safe boarding and disembarking, but is not responsible for loading luggage, and cannot be required to do so.
Buses run on a planned route; boarding and exiting is allowed only at the terminals or at the parking lot.
The operator may refuse service to clients not capable of safe travel (e.g., visibly intoxicated persons).
The client must obey traffic rules also as a passenger and behave properly during the shuttle trip.
After leaving the parking lot legitimately, the legal relationship ends. From this point, no complaints about the service are accepted.
These terms are valid even if the signed parking card is missing.
Terms not mentioned are regulated by the Civil Code or other relevant legislation regarding the operator’s activities.
The current parking rates are an attachment to the General Terms of Service.
